Prior to moving to New Zealand, Renier was a chartered Accountant for Price Waterhouse in South Africa, specialising in accounting, tax planning and advice, and audit assignments for large corporate and sole trader businesses. His experience with international companies has given him great insights into structuring businesses for optimal commercial benefits and the buying and selling of businesses.

Now, Renier focuses on his professional interests in the farming and medical sectors. He also manages commercial property for a number of clients; helping with the set up of leases and the day-to-day management in their investments. He is involved with several community organisations and trusts within the Whanganui region. Having emigrated himself, Renier also enjoys helping immigrants to New Zealand in establishing businesses and compliance.

Renier is passionate about assisting SMEs and enjoys the challenge accountancy brings to assist business owners. Most of his clients would describe Renier as having a serious dedication to his profession and clients' needs, as well as an honest and highly ethical work practice.

Being community minded, Renier believes strong communities are built from within, like Whanganui. Renier says "they make wonderful places to live, work and play in."

When Renier isn't helping clients, he likes to make the most of the outdoors, especially fishing and and lifestyle farming. Spending time with family and friends, here and abroad, are the things he values the most.
